Congress gears up for LS Assembly polls battle 2024

Following the fiasco and the poor show in the adjoining Rajasthan, the state Congress is mulling over the pertaining aspects likely to emerge as obstacles in the forthcoming assembly polls. It is a noticeable fact that the Congress is a divided house in the state as the two factions in the party are eyeball to eyeball over the battle of dominance in Haryana. The Congress bigwig Bhupinder Singh Hooda and the opposite faction within the party including Kumari Selja, Randeep Surjewala and Kiran Chaudhary known as SRK are on toes to strengthen their position ahead of the polls.
In this series, Hooda will address a series of rallies and workers’ program in a bid to boost the morale of Congress workers. After holding rallies in Sirsa and Jind, two districts considered to be politically significant centers, Hooda will hold workers’ meetings and programs in every district launching a movement against the ruling BJP and JJP. With a few months left in the polls, Hooda along with aide will hold ‘’Jan Akrosh’’ rallies in the first phase and as a part of the same, ‘’Zila Karykarta Sammelan’’ will be held on January 1, in Karnal, the home turf of the Chief Minister Manohar Lal. At the end of the year, he concluded with the conduct of the ‘Jana Akrosh Rally’ on December 31, in Ladwa. Earlier, Kisan Mazdoor Jan Aakrosh Rally was organized in Sirsa and Safido.
Pertaining to the aims of these rallies, Hooda said that he will expose the misdeeds and failures of the ruling BJP-JJP government which has left the people in a state of disparity. The state government has been entirely failed on all fronts with false tall claims of development, employment, better education and welfare of the agrarian community.
Further, ‘Karyakarta Sammelan’ will be conducted in Nuh on January 2 subsequently January 3 in adjoining Faridabad. Similarly, programs in Narnaul, Gurugram, Broda, Charkhi Dadri and Kurukshetra on January 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, and 10 respectively. Apart from Hooda, MP Deependra Hooda and State President Chaudhary Udaybhan, all the prominent leaders of the concerned district will participate in these programs. In this series, it is pertinent to mention that Jan Akrosh Rallies will be conducted parallelly with other programs. In wake of the forthcoming polls and the Bharat Nyan Yatra of Rahul Gandhi, a meeting of the party high command is to be held on January 4 in which Hooda, Udaybhan, Randeep Surjewala, Kumari Selja will remain present. Further Jan Akrosh Rallies are scheduled in Baroda, Mulana and Badli on January 7, 21 and 28 respectively. Similarly, rallies are to be held in Tigoan, Kalayat, Hodal and Mahendergarh constituencies on February 4, 10, 11 and 18 respectively.
Through the conduct of the rallies and worker conferences, Hooda aims to strengthen his position in the districts presently dominated by the ruling BJP, Besides he is also leaving no stone turned bring back his loyal and close ones who had quit the party and in this series, former minister Nirmal Singh and his daughter Chitra Sarwara, who recently bid farewell to AAP and are loyalists to Hooda, are being brought back into the Congress fold on January 5 Delhi.
