Congress failed to dominate new districts in Rajasthan

This year, in Rajasthan, the number of districts increased from 33 to 50. At the same time, Congress had to face defeat in these new seats. In 51 seats of new districts, BJP has almost double the number of seats as compared to 2018. In this election, BJP has won 29 out of 51 seats. Whereas Congress won 20 seats and independents won 2 seats. In the 2018 assembly elections, out of 51 seats, 26 were won by Congress, 15 by BJP, 5 by Independents, 4 by BSP and 1 by Independents. The situation was such that this time Congress could not even open its account in eight out of 17 new districts. Gehlot government had created new districts and publicized them extensively this year. It is clear from the election results that Congress has suffered losses instead of gains from the new districts. There are four seats in Kotputli-Behror, two in Shahpura, three in Beawar, two in Phalodi, and one seat each in Dudu, Kekri and Salumber. But Congress has not been able to get even one of these seats. At the same time, out of 7 seats in Jaipur Rural district, this time 5 Congress and 2 BJP have won. In 2018 there were 3 BJP, 2 Congress and 2 independents. This time Congress has gained five seats. There are 4 seats in the Kotputli-Behror district. Congress lost all four seats.
