CONG NOT TO HAVE TIES WITH TRS IN TELANGANA: RAHUL GANDHI

NEW DELHI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday announced in Warangal in Telangana that Congress will never have an alliance with TSR, which has betrayed Telangana. If any leader bats for the alliance, he will be shown the exit door. Addressing a gathering, Rahul cited the Chattisgarh Model, which has aimed at the welfare of farmers. Also, spoke about farm loan waivers in the state. Interestingly, Sonia Gandhi also held a rally in Warangal in 2002, which revived the electoral fortunes of the party and brought it back in power for two terms.

Gandhi took to Twitter and criticized the current CM of Telangana and called him a “a Raja who doesn’t listen to the voice of the people.” He also made a promise that if Congress comes to power he will ensure three things: Rs. 15,000 per acre direct transfer; Rs 2 lakh loan waiver; and fair and accurate MSP.
