The 7-day special day and night NSS camp at GGMSSS 20B CHD concluded with a ceremony attended by chief guest Dr. Nemichand and SLO (State Liaisoning Officer) NSS Cell Chandigarh Principal Smt. Beena Rani.

Approximately 96 volunteers from two units participated in the event, featuring cultural programs representing various states. An award ceremony, recognizing the best volunteers in sports and overall contribution, was organized under the guidance of Program Officer Sunita Sheoran and Kamaljit Kaur.

The volunteers also underwent a 7-day self-defense training program in the evening, conducted by Swayam Team Chandigarh Police. A Christmas celebration on December 25 added festive cheer to the camp, featuring a campfire and the distribution of candy during the evening’s musical bonanza.

Throughout the 7 days, NSS volunteers actively engaged in a significant project: the construction of a cemented area designated as NSS Corner through their collective effort in Shramdaan.

SLO Dr. Nemichand and the Principal commended the continuous dedication of the volunteers and the Program Officer. The closing ceremony concluded with a group photo of the volunteers and a lunch with the chief guest. These 7 days dedicated to community service were filled with enthusiasm and impactful contributions.
