In anticipation of the impending arrival of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Panchkula, a committee has been constituted to ensure its successful organization. Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated this nationwide journey on November 15 from Khunti, Jharkhand, and it is scheduled to reach Panchkula soon.
Committee Meeting and Preparations
Corporation Commissioner Sachin Gupta presided over a crucial meeting with officers and employees of the corporation to discuss the meticulous preparations required for the forthcoming yatra. Nodal Officer Varsha Khanagwal, along with ADC of Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Joint Commissioner Dr. Richa Rathi, were present at the meeting.
During the meeting, Commissioner Gupta provided comprehensive guidelines to the officers and employees, emphasizing the need for efficient execution of their duties. He stressed that negligence in any aspect of the program would not be tolerated.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Commissioner announced the appointment of key individuals to crucial roles within the organizing committee. Dr. Richa Rathi was designated as the overall in-charge of the Yatra, while DMC Apoorva Chaudhary, CSI Avinash Singla, and SO Vishal Kumar were appointed to the Organizing Committee. Program Nodal Officer responsibilities were assigned to Manoj Ahlawat, ZTO Akash Kapoor, ME Ajay Gautam, and ZTO Krishna Narwal. The overall day in-charge would be executive engineers Ajay Panghal and Pramod Kumar.
Yatra Objectives
Commissioner Gupta reiterated that the primary objective of the yatra is to disseminate information about the Central Government’s schemes across the country, motivating citizens to avail themselves of the benefits. He urged the citizens participating in the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra to make the most of the government’s public welfare schemes.
Event Details
The Commissioner revealed plans to organize health and AYUSH camps during the yatra, providing attendees with health benefits. Additionally, cultural programs by school children are scheduled. The committee aims to ensure the seamless execution of the yatra, promoting awareness and participation.
Present at the meeting were Deputy Corporation Commissioner Apoorva Chaudhary, Kalka EO Ravindra Kuhad, XEN Pramod Kumar, Ajay Panghal, ZTO Akash Kapoor, SDO Ajay Gautam, Manoj Ehlawat, and CSI Avinash Singla.
