Four individuals lost their lives when their car collided with a stationary container truck on the Mumbai-Agra Highway within Maharashtra’s Nashik district, as confirmed by the police.
The tragic accident unfolded at the Malsane Shivar area in Chandwad taluka at approximately 7 am when the car, en route from Nashik to Dhule, collided with the stationary heavy vehicle. The impact was fatal, leading to the instantaneous demise of all four occupants in the car.
The victims were identified as Kiran Ahirrao (47), Krishnakant Mali (43), Pravin Pawar (38), and Anil Patil (38), all residents of Dhule. The container truck had been parked alongside the road due to a flat tire issue, contributing to the unfortunate collision. The accident disrupted traffic flow on the Mumbai-Agra national highway during the morning hours, causing delays and road closures.
