College student gang-raped in Mumbai’s Chembur

According to police on Sunday, two people have been taken into custody in relation to the reported gang rape of a 19-year-old college student in Mumbai’s Chembur neighborhood. Officials claim that the incident happened at a Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) apartment in the Chembur neighborhood. According to officials, the incident was discovered when the victim and her family went to the police and reported the two of them. They claimed that one of the accused and the victim were friends who lived in the same building. The accused had invited his friend to his house the night of the incident after his family had left. When the victim went to the accused’s home to get cooking supplies, the two allegedly offered.
