Earlier on 27 April, Union Home Minister Amit Shah hosted a delegation from the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) led by party general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami and other party leaders at his residence in New Delhi.
JP Nadda, national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), attended the meeting.
Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami led the AIADMK delegation. K Annamalai, the chief of the Tamil Nadu Bharatiya Janata Party, was also present at the meeting.
K Annamalai took to Twitter and said, “Leader of Opposition in Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, @AIADMKOfficial General Secretary Mr. @EPSTamilNadu and leaders of AIADMK, our @BJP4India National President Mr. @JPNadda and Union Home Minister Mr. @AmitShah met in Delhi today.”
