Today, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann held a meeting with administrative secretaries of different districts to review the progress of various government schemes related to public welfare and development. He stressed the need to ensure that the benefits of these schemes reach every eligible beneficiary in the state.
While presiding over the meeting with administrative secretaries from different villages, the Chief Minister stated that the state government is fully committed to the development of Punjab and the well-being of its people. He emphasized that sectors such as health, education, and employment should be given special attention for the convenience of the people.
Mann mentioned that ongoing projects in the state should be completed on time, and new schemes should be designed for the welfare of the people. He suggested formulating new beneficiary schemes that cater to the larger public interest.
Asserting that Punjab is scripting success stories in every field, Mann said that the state is leading the way in the country. He encouraged officials to utilize the allocated budget for various schemes in a timely manner, as decided by the respective villages.
The Chief Minister assured that there is no shortage of funds with the state government for development and public welfare. He highlighted the importance of providing a clean and transparent administrative work environment, making it a top priority for the government.
Mann insisted that there would be no tolerance for any laxity in the implementation of social welfare schemes. He stressed the need to establish proper mechanisms to reach the deserving individuals and maintain continuous surveillance to ensure that only eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of these schemes.
He further stated that the state government is determined to make sure that the benefits of these schemes reach only eligible individuals. Mann concluded by expressing the necessity of making Punjab a prosperous state where every citizen can lead their life with dignity. He reiterated that obtaining the benefits of government schemes is the right of every eligible person, and officials have a responsibility to ensure that no deserving person is left out.
