After adopting Haryana Government’s unique initiative to make villages Lal Dora free under the banner of the SVAMITVA scheme, now the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has advised all the states to adopt Manohar Sarkar’s ambitious Parivar Pehchan Patra scheme. This was stated by Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar while addressing the public at Janta Darbar held at Karnal Club in Karnal district here on Sunday. During the Darbar, the Chief Minister listened to the problems of the people and ordered on-the-spot redressal. People attending the Janta Darbar said that they are really happy to see that their ‘Mukhyamantri’ along with the top officials of his administrative wing has taken the initiative of directly interacting with the common man.” We have never thought that the Chief Minister himself is listening to the problems by sitting with the higher officials and solving them on the spot,” said the attendees.
The CM said that the people of the state are his family and Janta Darbar is a unique experiment of listening to the problems of the people. Earlier, Samvad programmes have also been organized in Rohtak, Sirsa, Sonipat, and Kurukshetra districts, said the CM. He assured the people that their problems would be solved at the earliest. CM Manohar Lal said that the state government has done many things to change the system in the last 8 years. New policies have been formulated and old laws have been amended to make life easier for the people and to solve their complaints and problems. The CM said that by starting a new initiative, the government had launched the Vivadon se Samadhan programme, under which new policies were formulated to address the grievances of people in various departments.
CM Khattar said that using the data available in the Parivar Pehchan Patra database, the government has decided to assign the responsibility of taking care of citizens to specific departments. He said that the age group up to 6 years has been assigned to the Department of Women and Child Development so that every needy child can be taken care of, irrespective of whether the child is currently attending an Anganwadi centre or not. The age group above 6 years and up to 18 years have been assigned to the school Education department to ensure that no child remains out of school. Similarly, the age group above 18 years and up to 25 years has been assigned to Higher Education department to ensure that every youth is either educated or gets skilled for jobs.
