CM Gehlot transfers gas cylinder subsidy to beneficiaries

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot stated that the state government’s schemes are continuously providing relief to the common people from rising prices. He said that through the Price Relief Camps, more than 1.82 crore families have been given guarantee cards with benefits exceeding 7 crore, all sections of society are benefiting from welfare schemes such as 100 units of free electricity, free medical treatment worth 25 lakhs, the Kamdhenu scheme, a minimum 1,000 rupees social security pension, the Annapurna scheme, and the Anuprati Coaching scheme.
Gehlot mentioned, “A total of 1.33 crore women in the state are being provided with data-connected smartphones, furthering the campaign for women’s empowerment initiated by former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi through reservation for women in Panchayati Raj institutions.” He made these remarks on Monday while addressing a dialogue program for the beneficiaries of the Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme in Jodhpur. On this occasion, he transferred a subsidy amount of approximately 75 crore rupees to the accounts of over 18 lakh beneficiaries across all districts of the state. He mentioned that women are the most affected by the impact of rising prices, and to provide them relief and reduce kitchen expenses, around 76 lakh families in the state are being provided gas cylinders for 500 rupees each.
