These days the leaders of Rajasthan are surrounded by the Enforcement Directorate. Although ED has not made any major revelation yet, in the meantime, it seems to be targeting the Chief Minister’s son.
On Friday, Vaibhav Gehlot was called by ED to Delhi for questioning. However, due to Vaibhav’s absence, CM Gehlot may have to appear before the ED. In the meanwhile, the Chief Minister is calling all the allegations against his son false. He had said that ED is sent only to bring it in the news, it will not even be seen after the elections. Vaibhav Gehlot had made an excuse of giving less than 24 hours. On Thursday, ED had reached the house of Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasra and Vaibhav Gehlot. ED asked Vaibhav Gehlot to appear the very next day on Friday. On this, he had said that ED did not even give him 24 hours, and 12-year-old false allegations were raised when the raids were conducted. It is worth noting that Vaibhav has been given a notice of inquiry in the FEMA case. Regarding this, CM Ashok Gehlot said that Vaibhav does not have any international business.
BJP has become the spokesperson of ED: CM Gehlot
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said, “ED is still not releasing the press note as to why we raided the house of a certain person. What was recovered from there? How much cash was found? This information is not released nor are they releasing it to the press. He further said, “BJP is talking. BJP has become the spokesperson of ED.”
