Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the opening of 11 new courts of various categories in the state. Gehlot has also sanctioned a financial allocation of 2.97 crore rupees per court for the creation of these new courts and the construction of infrastructure.
The newly opened courts include Additional District and Sessions Judge Courts in Khajuwala (Bikaner) and Balesar (Jodhpur), Senior Civil Judge and Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Courts in Marwad Junction (Pali), Bagidaura (Banswara), Seekari (Bharatpur), and Jobner (Jaipur). Additionally, Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate Courts are established in Shiv (Barmer), Khinvsar (Medata jurisdiction), and Sinadhari (Balotra jurisdiction), Special Judicial Magistrate (N.I. Act cases) Courts in Kishangarh (Ajmer), and Commercial Courts in Sri Ganganagar.
Out of the 119 newly created positions, there are 11 for Chief Stenographers, 25 for Grade II Clerks, 8 for Process Servers, 7 for Grade I Clerks, 3 for Grade I Stenographers, 4 for Grade II and III Stenographers each, 2 for Grade I Shorthand Writers, 4 for Grade II and III Shorthand Writers each, 3 for Grade I Readers, 4 for Grade II and III Readers each, and 35 for Senior Munsarim, all belonging to the Fourth category employees.
For the procurement of various machinery and furniture for these courts, a budget of 6.02 lakh rupees has been allocated per court. With the approval of the Chief Minister, judicial proceedings in the state will be more efficient, and the public will have access to swift justice.
