CM Bhajan Lal directs suspension of three nursing officers of SMS hospital

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma conducted an unannounced inspection of the Bangar campus at Sawai Man Singh Hospital on Monday morning. He assessed the cleanliness and arrangements in various wards, interacted with patients and their families, and inquired about their well-being. Sharma issued instructions to doctors to ensure proper medical facilities by addressing any impediments in treatment.

During the inspection, CM Sharma directed strict action against doctors, nursing staff, sweepers, and other personnel who were absent from the hospital without prior notice. He suspended three nursing officers. The orders were issued by the Medical Department on Monday evening, according to which Mukesh Babu, Alam Ali Khan and Mukesh Changil were suspended. He also scrutinised the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Registration, and Medicine Distribution Centre. CM Sharma sought information about the quality and purity of the food provided to patients in the hospital.
Expressing dissatisfaction, the Chief Minister emphasised that officials should conduct regular meetings to address issues related to cleanliness, treatment, and medicine distribution.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma instructed the Hospital Superintendent and other medical officers to ensure regular weekly monitoring to maintain good cleanliness on the hospital premises. Additionally, he urged officials to arrange suitable seating for family members accompanying patients. Sharma emphasised the need to enhance health services and management at SMS Hospital.
