Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, stated on Wednesday that he was missing his former deputy Manish Sisodia on his birthday because Sisodia was imprisoned in a “false case.”
Former Delhi education minister Mr. Sisodia was detained in February and has been imprisoned ever since. In connection with potential mistakes in the city government’s excise policy, Manish Sisodia was detained for his alleged involvement in the money laundering case.
The Chief Minister also urged the populace to promise to provide every Indian kid born with an excellent education.
On X, formerly Twitter, Mr. Kejriwal was overheard saying, “Today is my birthday. A lot of people are wishing me. I greatly appreciate it.”I miss Manish”. He is being held in a fake case.
