On Tuesday, the 9th meeting of the State Level Broadband Committee for the National Broadband Campaign was convened, chaired by Chief Secretary Usha Sharma at the Government Secretariat. During the meeting, Sharma conducted a comprehensive review of the Right of Way (ROW) progress and other relevant topics, including the State ROW Portal, CBUD Mobile Application, DCRI, and PM Gati Shakti NMP Portal.
The Chief Secretary directed officials to ensure the timely completion of pending cases related to land allotment, forest department approval, and other necessary tasks at the departmental level.
This collaborative effort is aimed at expediting the completion of projects such as optical fibre cable installation and mobile tower setup. Commissioner of the Information Technology and Communications Department, Inderjeet Singh, Additional Director General (Telecom) Brijesh Prajapati, and officials from the Telecommunications Department attended the meeting. Officials from related departments, including Revenue, Urban Development, Autonomous Governance, and Panchayati Raj, participated through video conferencing.
