Chief principal secretary to Punjab CM resigns?

CHANDIGARH: Retired IAS officer Suresh Kumar has reportedly resigned from the post of Chief Principal Secretary to Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh. However, there is no official confirmation about his resignation yet.

Reports regarding his resignation were also there in September 2019, but were denied by the government at that time. This time too Govt. statement is awaited as sources said that efforts are being made to convince him.

Suresh Kumar was appointed Chief Principal Secretary in March, 2017 right after the present government was sworn in. He was appointed in the rank of Cabinet Secretary of Government of India (GoI).
