At least 15 individuals lost their lives following the overturning of a pickup truck in the Kawardha region of Chhattisgarh on Monday.
A group of 25-30 people belonging to the Baiga tribal community were on their way back in a pickup truck after gathering traditional tendu leaves.

The vehicle plunged into a 20-foot-deep ditch near the Bahpani area.
The wounded were promptly taken to the nearby district hospital for further medical attention. All individuals involved are reported to be residents of Kui.
