Chhattisgarh Cong MLA attacked with knife

Congress MLA Chhanni Sahu from Khujji in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh has been attacked with a knife by a drunk youth on Sunday. The MLA was injured in the attack and was later, taken to the Community Health Centre for treatment. It is being told that MLA Chhanni Sahu had gone to Jondhara village for attending a programme. At present, the police have arrested the accused youth. According to the information, the name of the accused is Khemchand Sinha. Police said that further investigation is on and motive behind the attack is still not clear.
