As soon as the BJP released its second list of candidates, unrest erupted. Workers are protesting in Jaipur, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, Alwar, Bundi, and Udaipur. They vandalised the BJP office in Rajsamand and staged a protest outside the residence of the candidate Deepthi Maheshwari in Rajsamand. The angered workers opposed giving a ticket to an external candidate and demanded a local candidate be nominated. They stormed the BJP office on Kankroli Road, damaged election materials, and placed a protest outside the BJP office. Dissatisfied workers also staged a sit-in outside the office. They expressed their discontent by opposing Dinesh Badiya, who pledged allegiance to the BJP.
In Chittorgarh, there is growing anger among the workers as they have not received a ticket for Akya, the MLA from Chittorgarh. Continuous opposition is being expressed against State President CP Joshi. On Sunday morning, BJP workers at Manpura Chowk in Chittorgarh city burnt an effigy of Joshi and threw stones at his house in Madhuvan Colony.
Workers say that deceiving Chanderbhan Singh Akya in this way is wrong. In Chittorgarh, Narpat Singh Rajvi, who has been an MLA twice, was given a ticket instead of Akya. In response to not receiving the ticket, Akya said that CP Joshi has taken revenge for the old enmity.
