From the very first day of the Monsoon session, opposition parties MPs have been demonstrating in front of the Speaker every day, demanding discussion on Manipur violence. Most of the time, they are holding placards to demand discussion. Also, opposition MPs have shown the placards in front of the parliament camera. Whenever any minister speaks, opposition parties MPs put their placards in such a way that the camera cannot avoid the placards. Realising this, BJP ministers have changed their strategy of speaking. Many of them, with the permission of the chair, spoke from the back benches so that placards did not get in the way of the camera.
