According to the directive, schools within the municipal limits of Srinagar district will operate from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

For schools located outside the municipal limits of Srinagar, as well as in other districts and areas of the Kashmir province, the new timing will be from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The DSEK emphasized strict adherence to these revised timings by all educational institutions, cautioning that any deviation from the prescribed schedule will be treated seriously.
