On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Women Society in Sector 45 D Chandigarh conducted an awareness camp focused on health and hygiene in the Faida Chandigarh slum area/colony on Tuesday.
Pooja Bakshi, the Founder and President of the Women Society, led her organization’s members in distributing sanitary pads to women in need within the Faidaan slum area while providing information on health and hygiene.
Emphasising the importance of cleanliness, Pooja Bakshi stated that women should prioritize cleanliness not only in their homes but also in their surroundings to maintain better health. The organization consistently organizes awareness programs on health hygiene.
Satdev Garg and Neeraj, the Managing Director of Finex Life Care Chandigarh, actively supported the distribution of sanitary pads, for which the organization expressed heartfelt gratitude.
Satyadev mentioned their commitment to supporting the organization as part of their social responsibility, praising the organization’s efforts.
The organization’s Advisor, Omprakash Mehra, and members Raju, Aarav, Rabia Malik, Numa Magar, and Anjali Mohra were also present during the event.
