Chandigarh Police arrested seven, including PO, in successful operation

The Chandigarh Police’s PO and Summons Staff successfully apprehended seven individuals, including one PO. Hariom Sharma, the Inspector/Incharge of PO and Summons Staff, provided details of the arrests, mentioning that the team managed to capture seven proclaimed criminals/absconders.

One of the arrested individuals, PO Rajesh Kumar from Sector-2, Panchkula, Haryana, was apprehended in Barog, District Solan, Himachal Pradesh, in connection with a fraud case amounting to Rs 11,00,000 filed at Police Station 39, Chandigarh. The accused, who had failed to appear in court following the case registration, was declared a PO by the court, presented before the court, and subsequently sent to judicial custody. In another case, PO Balbir Singh from Prem Nagar, Jind, Haryana, was arrested at Geeta Mahotsav, Kurukshetra, Haryana, in a case related to the Illegal Liquor Excise Act at Police Station 17. The accused, who had remained absent in court proceedings, was declared a PO, presented before the court, and sent to judicial custody. The team executed a non-bailable warrant for the arrest of Narinder Singh, a resident of Kendriya Vihar-2, Sector-125, Kharar, District Mohali.

The warrant was issued by the State Consumer Redressal Disputes Commission, UT, Chandigarh, in the case of Randeep Sood Vs. The accused was presented before the Commission and sent to judicial custody. In a re-arrest case, the team executed a warrant for the arrest of Surinder Kumar Ranga, a resident of Rattapur Colony, New India School, Pinjore. The accused was apprehended in Pinjore and presented before the court. Sahil, a resident of Sector 4, Panchkula, was arrested from Baltana, Zirakpur, in connection with a case under Section 138 NI Act. The court declared the accused a PO, and they were presented before the court.

Similarly, Harbir Singh, a resident of Khushhal Enclave, Zirakpur, Mohali, was arrested from Zirakpur in a case under Section 138 NI Act. The court declared the accused a PO, and they were presented before the court. Arun Kumar, a resident of DMC, Chandigarh, was arrested in connection with a case under Section 138 NI Act. The accused, declared a Court PO, was presented before the court.
