The definitions of “man” and “woman” in the Cambridge Dictionary have been modified to cover people who identify with genders other than their biological sexes. An “adult female human being” and “an adult who lives and identifies as female even though they may have been said to have a different sex at birth” are the definitions of a woman, respectively. In the same way, the definition of man has evolved.
