Butcher in Guntur District Allegedly Kills Pregnant Stray Dog
A butcher in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, allegedly killed a pregnant stray dog by repeatedly stabbing it with a knife, police reported on Saturday. Circle Inspector Suresh Kumar stated that the incident occurred on Friday, May 17.
“A butcher killed a pregnant stray dog with a knife around midnight on Friday. The incident was reported to the Nallapadu police,” police confirmed.
According to witnesses, the butcher, who works at a local meat shop, repeatedly stabbed the pregnant dog, resulting in its death. The Nallapadu police have registered a case of animal cruelty following a complaint from local residents and have launched an investigation into the incident. Further details are awaited.
