Mukhtar Ansari Receives Jail Term for Threatening Murder Witness
On Thursday, the Enforcement Directorate raided the premises of Mukhtar Ansari, leader of the Bahujan Samaj Party in Lucknow and Ghazipur, in the context of an alleged money laundering case.
Ansari is currently detained in Banda jail in Uttar Pradesh.
A total of eleven locations have been covered during the search sessions.
Mukhatar Ansari’s brother, Afzal Ansari, is also under suspicion. The investigating agency is raiding Afzal’s residence as well.
