BSF ex-DG Pankaj Kumar Singh appointed Deputy National Security Adviser

In the National Security Council Secretariat for two years, retired Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF), Pankaj Kumar Singh, has been appointed as the Deputy National Security Adviser. Earlier, on 31 December 2022, Singh retired as the BSF chief. Singh is a 1988-batch Indian Police Service officer of the Rajasthan cadre, and on a re-employment contract, he has been appointed as Deputy National Security Adviser.
