Two coaches of the Tejas Express traveling from Bhubaneswar to Delhi derailed near Ghaziabad railway station, resulting in minor injuries to some passengers. Fortunately, the train was decelerating as it approached the station, averting a potentially major accident.
The incident occurred approximately 100 meters before platform number four, and upon receiving the news, Railway Protection Force (RPF) and railway officials promptly responded to the scene. Passengers from the derailed coach were transferred to another coach, as the wheels of the coach behind the luggage compartment had come off the tracks.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
