On the day of Ram Mandir’s inauguration, several VIP guests arrived in Ayodhya to attend the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is amid his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Assam where he was barred from entering the Batadrava temple premises this morning.
In the video published by PTI, Rahul Gandhi was seen in the hush and rush to enter the temple. He said to the security official, “What is the issue brother? Can I go and see the barricades? What mistake I have done that I am not allowed inside the temple?”
Informing that the temple is the birthplace of saint Srimanta Sankardeva.
Rahul added saying, “We are trying to go to the temple. We were invited and now they are telling us that we can’t visit.”
Further he said, “We are not going to do anything forcibly. We have to do our yatra, we are asking them what is the reason? We are not going to disturb anybody. We have been invited there.”
