The K-pop idol Jennie’s unexpected disappearance from the stage was quite a shocker for Blinks present at the group’s BORN PINK Melbourne concert on June 11. For the unversed, she walked off midway. Later, her management agency YG Entertainment shared an update on her health. Now, she herself has issued a public apology for leaving the stage mid-concert.
She wrote, “Dear Melbourne Blinks, I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to finish the show on Sunday. I’m doing my best to recover at the moment. Your understanding and support means the world to me. Thank you to everyone who came out to our Melbourne show. Love you guys.”

In the official statement, YG Entertainment said, “Jennie expressed her strong determination to carry on with the performance until the end. However, following medical advice on site, we immediately took measures to ensure she receives ample rest and stability.”
Making her acting debut in The Idol, Jennie is the talk of the town. She plays Dyanne who is the backup dancer of Joclyne played by Lily Rose Deep. Although the K-pop idol is playing a supporting character, her role is very promising. As the ambassador of Chanel, she wore the brand at the 75th Cannes Film Festival on May 22.
