BJP’s new recruits impose ‘Congressisation’ speculations

The Bharatiya Janata Party is continuously expanding its family by constantly adding Congress leaders. However, there is a discussion in political corridors whether the BJP’s continuous inclusion of Congress leaders for power may eventually lead the BJP to ‘Congressisation’. The reason for this question is that the BJP, which is bringing the leaders from Congress to strengthen its ranks to gain power, might not be familiar with the BJP’s policies and strategies, and these leaders might not have any affiliation with the party either. Currently, the leaders who have joined the BJP are unhappy due to not getting tickets.
Recently, Jyoti Khandelwal, who became the Mayor of Congress and contested as an MP, joined the BJP. It was believed that she could be given a ticket from Kishanpole or Hawa Mahal. Jyoti also had full confidence that the BJP would field her in the elections. However, she was not given a ticket. In such a situation, when The Daily Guardian tried to contact her, she said that she would not say anything about it at the moment. However, she will soon present her case in front of everyone. On the other hand, Jyoti has not yet started campaigning for the BJP on her social media accounts.
Discontent among BJP leaders and objections will be raised after the election
Meanwhile, some Bharatiya Janata Party leaders and workers are also continuously angry about the joining of Congress leaders. Without naming anyone, they said that the leaders who are being included in the party will weaken the BJP instead of strengthening it. They also say that Congress leaders who join after the elections will be disassociated from the party and BJP workers will carry on the work. BJP leaders and workers have decided that after the elections, they will raise this issue in front of the party’s high command.
Prominent leaders have joined the BJP
Talking about prominent Congress leaders, former Mayor Jyoti Khandelwal, MLA Giriraj Singh Malinga, former MLA Shivcharan Kushwaha, Congress leaders Suresh Mishra, Subhash Maharia, former MP Jyoti Mirdha, Omprakash Pahadia, son of former CM Jagannath Pahadia, former PCS Secretary Birendra Chandra Sharma, Subhash Meel, Darshan Singh Gurjar, former Mayor Vishnu Lata, and many other Congress leaders, including Sunita Bhati, who was a Congress candidate from Jaisalmer, have joined the BJP. The BJP has fielded several of these leaders as candidates in the assembly elections, while some of them did not receive tickets.
Training to be conducted after elections
Narayan Panchariya, the convener of the BJP Election Management Committee, said that the BJP will not undergo ‘Congressisation’. The leaders who have joined the party have been included after full consideration and discussion. He stated that the BJP’s organisational structure is very robust, and all the leaders will be accommodated within the party. Furthermore, after the elections, a training camp will be organised for the new leaders who have joined the BJP. In this training camp, senior party leaders will acquaint them with the policies and strategies of the BJP and strengthen the organisation.
