The countdown of tickets has begun in the Bharatiya Janata Party. The first list of candidates in Rajasthan will be released soon. It is believed that this list may include around 50 names. In the national capital, during a meeting of the Central Election Committee at the BJP headquarters, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, National President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Election In-Charge Pralhad Joshi discussed the names of candidates in detail, along with leaders associated with Rajasthan.
A long brainstorming session also took place on those seats where the party has been consistently losing elections. It should be noted that before the arrival of PM Modi, a core group meeting of the Rajasthan BJP was held at the residence of National President JP Nadda.
In both meetings, with Shah and Nadda, State In-Charge Arun Singh, Co-In-Charge Vijaya Rahatkar, State Organization Minister Chandrashekhar, State President CP Joshi, Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Kailash Choudhary, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Opposition Leader Rajendra Rathore, Kuldeep Singh Vishnoi, and Satish Poonia were present. Late at night, a meeting of the CEC was held at the BJP headquarters, where the names were finalized.
According to sources, the BJP has presented the list of candidates for nearly 50 seats in Rajasthan to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National President JP Nadda. In this list, there are names with no controversies associated with them. Therefore, a panel of single names has been prepared here.
The significant thing is that Satish Poonia was not supposed to be included in these meetings. He was participating in the Amer Youth Sangam program at Birla Sabhaagar. During this time, he received a phone call from the central leadership. Immediately after the event, Poonia left for Delhi. It is believed that as the former state president, he will also be consulted on party tickets because Poonia has been leading the BJP in Rajasthan for a long time. He actively participates in programs organized by BJP leaders in different constituencies.
Reliable sources associated with the state BJP say that the first list has finally been discussed. However, the first list will be released after October 5. The reason for this is that PM Modi will visit Chittorgarh on Gandhi Jayanti, on Monday. After that, on October 5, he has a government program in Jodhpur, and after that, he will address the public meeting. In this case, the first list will likely be released only after October 5.
