Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader BS Yediyurappa said on Thursday that the BJP is sure to get a majority in the upcoming state assembly polls to be held on 10 May.
He went on to say that it is the habit of Congress to make false allegations, because the party is corrupt.
Addressing a press conference, Yediyurappa said, “Under PM Modi’s leadership, we’ll come back to power.” Congress is corrupt, and that’s why they’re making false allegations of a 40% commission, voters don’t like such things.
The people of Karnataka welcomed leaders like Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. Therefore, the BJP is 100 percent sure to get a clear majority in the state, he said.
Yediyurappa further added that a huge number of people took part in the road shows, Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra, and other public events organised by the saffron party, which sends a clear message.
