BJP Spokesperson accuses Congress of empty promises

Sudhanshu Trivedi, a Rajya Sabha MP and the national spokesperson of the BJP interacted with the media at the BJP’s state media centre in Jaipur on Wednesday. He stated, “The guarantees made by the Congress and CM Ashok Gehlot are false. However, there is a complete guarantee of the Congress government being removed in this legislative election. As the elections draw near, Congress is not just worried about its defeat; it is entirely confident. When someone starts to see their defeat looming, they also remember their past mistakes. It is evident that this alliance, which includes the JDU’s leader Nitish Kumar, with their hostile attitude towards women, has become an explosive alliance rather than an inclusive alliance.”
Trivedi said, “The Congress had guaranteed English medium schools, but when you look at the ground reality, 58% of teacher positions in schools are vacant. They initially appointed teachers without preparation, but now these teachers are protesting their transfers. The Congress government, which promised to open 20,000 schools, cannot provide the number of schools it has actually opened. The BJP is preparing to teach primary education in students’ mother tongue under the new education policy. Meanwhile, the Congress is suddenly reminiscing about English after 75 years of independence. They need to answer for the 93,000 free laptops and unemployment allowances they promised in their 2018 manifesto.”
He stated that the IT revolution in the country has been advanced by the Modi government. He said, “In 2013, the average broadband speed was 1.7 Mbps; it is now 3.9 Mbps. Broadband connections have reached across India, and data costs have been reduced by 25 times. The Congress talked about disaster relief insurance when the Ayushman Bharat scheme was already in operation. There is not a single beneficiary of their 25 lakh rupees insurance. Those who talk about the Grihalakshmi Yojana, what have they done for women? Meanwhile, the Modi government has passed bills like the Nari Shakti Vandan for the welfare of women.”
Trivedi questioned why the Congress government is now praising the Ujjwala Yojana, which was initiated by the Modi government, and from what perspective is the Gehlot government trying to take credit for it? He pointed out that the Congress, which talked about the OPS, was in power in the centre for ten years and in Rajasthan. He asked, “Why did it not recall it then?”
