After the year 1977, Himachal Pradesh has a history of turn-wise Power. Himachal people give a turn to each party after five years but this time, the trend seems to change, and the currently ruling government seems to sense it as well. With the announcement of the dates for the Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh, political agitation has intensified in the state. The biggest challenge before the BJP is to break the three-decade-old trend.
With the announcement of Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh, the election campaign is also going to intensify. The tour of BJP veterans has already been started as soon as the names of the candidates are announced. However, Home Minister Amit Shah started the party’s campaign by holding the first election meeting in the state after the announcement of the elections. The Union leaders of the party are preparing to hold more than 50 meetings mostly public meetings here.
In the current political climate in Himachal Pradesh, a tough challenge is expected from the Congress. Aam Aadmi Party is in discussion there, but it does not seem to have much effect on the elections. In the midst of all this, BJP is going to fight the elections with full force and compassion. A major reason behind this has been the change of government in the state every time for the last three decades.
All its big leaders will be seen campaigning till every nook and corner of the state. More than half a dozen meetings of Prime Minister Modi are expected. Home Minister Amit Shah, Party President JP Nadda, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister Anurag Thakur, Smriti Irani and more than a dozen central leaders will also campaign in the state.
