Recently veteran BJP leader of Karnataka B.S. Yedurappa announced in an emotional speech at the assembly that he does not want to contest in upcoming assembly polls. Though some of his followers were urging to reconsider the decision, Yedurappa did not change his decision. But he also made it clear that during the assembly polls he will campaign for the party. Karnataka BJP leaders think Yedurappa has something in mind and his announcement of retirement is to be taken with some latent demand from the veteran politician. Actually Yedurappa was promoting his son for contesting in his erstwhile constituency from where he won for the last eight elections. He does not want to see some other candidate from his home constituency.
