The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, led by its President Ravinder Raina, convened the first meeting of the State Election Committee at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar on Tuesday. The meeting aimed to strategize and plan for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Key party figures, including Cluster Incharge for Lok Sabha elections Dr. Nirmal Singh, Incharges, and Co-Incharges of various departments dedicated to the 2024 elections, attended the significant gathering.
Addressing the meeting, BJP J&K President Ravinder Raina acknowledged the challenges ahead in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, emphasizing the party’s commitment to maintaining its victories from the last elections and securing additional seats. Raina highlighted the crucial role each department plays in achieving this goal, urging leaders with assigned responsibilities to dedicate more time to contribute to the BJP’s electoral success with a resounding majority.
Dr. Nirmal Singh delved into the workings of each department and underscored the importance of thorough preparation by party leaders to discharge their duties effectively. He emphasized the need for enhanced coordination among the various recently constituted party departments. Ashok Koul, BJP General Secretary (Organization), provided insights into the departments formed specifically for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Koul expressed confidence that the wealth of experience possessed by party leaders would undoubtedly yield positive results in the upcoming polls.
Conducting the proceedings of the meeting, J&K BJP General Secretary Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal emphasized that the dedicated efforts of the team would play a pivotal role in achieving a resounding victory. As the party gears up for the electoral battle, the coordination, commitment, and strategic planning discussed in this meeting mark the beginning of BJP’s preparations for the crucial 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Jammu & Kashmir.
