BJP-JJP government is half lie, half corruption, half lazy, half helpless and completely useless: Hooda

Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda has described the BJP-JJP government in Haryana as completely useless and said the state does not need a double engine, but a new engine.
“This government is half lies, half corruption, half lame, half helpless and completely useless. This is the truth of Haryana’s BJP-JJP government. That is why Haryana does not need this double engine but a government with a new engine and that new engine is Congress,” he said. Hooda was addressing a press conference on completion of 9 years of BJP government in the state. He presented the truth of the government to the public with facts and figures.
Hooda said the present government has proved to be a complete failure in providing MSP to farmers, employment to youth, pension to the elderly, ration to the poor, reservation to Dalits and backward classes and protection to citizens. “The present government aims to make Haryana number one in terms of unemployment, inflation, corruption, crime, drugs, atrocities on farmers, lathi charge on every section of the society, closing down welfare schemes for the poor, taking loans and killing its own citizens with government bullets,” he said.
Hooda said the BJP-JJP government, which is organizing events on completion of 9 years, will have to answer on their election promises. “The government should tell what happened to the promises like MSP guarantee to farmers, bonus on MSP, old age pension of Rs 5100, old pension scheme, pay scale equal to Punjab and construction of medical colleges in every district,” he added.
Regarding unemployment, the Central Government itself told in the Parliament that unemployment has increased 3 times after the formation of BJP government in Haryana. “During the Congress government in 2013-14, the unemployment rate was only 2.9%, which has increased to around 9.0% today,” he said.
“2.02 lakh posts are lying vacant in government departments, but instead of making recruitments, the government is carrying out scams like paper leak and paper copying. In recruitment, people from other states are being given preference instead of people from Haryana,” he stated. “Haryana youth are being deliberately failed in recruitment for senior posts. The latest example of this is HCS-Allied Recruitment. Only 61 candidates have passed the main examination for 100 posts of this recruitment. The question arises that the Haryana youth who can top exams like UPSC, can’t they also pass HCS,” he questioned.
“It is clear from such cases coming to light one after the other that big scams are being carried out in the name of recruitment. The Deputy Secretary of HPSC was himself caught in the office with Rs 90 lakh in November 2021. Similarly, in the year 2018, 5 people were caught in the HSSC office on charges of tampering with the results,” he said.“In the last nine years, countless papers have been leaked from CET (Group D) to HCS (2023). SI Recruitment (March 2022), Dental Surgeon (December 2021), Police Constable Recruitment (August 2021), Village Secretary Recruitment (12 January 2021), Clerk Recruitment Paper Leak (December 2016), Clerk Recruitment (Electricity Department), Excise Inspector ( December 2016), Agriculture Inspector (July 2017), Conductor Recruitment Paper (September 2017), ITI Instructor Recruitment Paper Leak, Excise Inspector Paper Leak, Naib Tehsildar Recruitment Paper Leak, PTI Recruitment Exam Paper Leak, HTET Paper Leak (November 2015), among others. News of more than 30 paper leaks have been published in newspapers,” he recounted. Hooda said Haryana has gone far ahead of other big states in crime rate.
