‘BJP is Baccha chor party’: Sisodia slams BJP amid corruption charges

Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister of Delhi, slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for making unfounded accusations against the AAP administration in Delhi on Tuesday amid the ongoing dispute over corruption allegations.

Sisodia claimed that false information was spread during a special session of the Delhi assembly that the CBI had discovered property paperwork in his bank locker. He claimed that the AAP had responded to all of the opposition’s inquiries and couldn’t respond to the lies they were spewing.

Sisodia stated, “The BJP spent 63,000 crores on buying MLAs in Delhi. The BJP is acting like a serial killer to overthrow state governments. Where did they get this money from? That should be the prime minister and JP Nadda’s response.”

“PM (Narendra) Modi should answer why he waved off loans worth crores of big industrialists while levying GST on essential items like milk and other food products,” Sisodia asked.

The AAP leader labelled the BJP the “baccha chor party” in reference to the Mathura child abduction case.

A seven-month-old baby who had been kidnapped from the Mathura train station last week was found on Monday in the home of a local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) official who had allegedly purchased him from a child-trafficking ring for the price of 1.8 lakh.

The kidnapping occurred on August 24 while the boy was sleeping close to his mother on the platform at Mathura Railway Station, according to the police. He was found after several days of searching in the home of Vinita and Krishna Murari Agrawal, a BJP corporator from Firozabad. Investigators were able to pin the crime on a racket that was run by a Hathras doctor couple. According to authorities, investigations are being conducted to find more racketeers.

Earlier on Tuesday, Sisodia asserted that the CBI had cleared him after searching his Ghaziabad-based bank locker.

“Only items worth 70,000 to 80,000 were found in the locker searched by the CBI.  We have got a clean chit from the agency,” Sisodia said.
