Rajasthan BJP’s former state president, Advocate Dr. Arun Chaturvedi, led a delegation to submit a memorandum to the Honorable Governor in a case concerning derogatory comments about the judiciary made by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
Advocate Arun Chaturvedi emphasized that such remarks made by a person holding a high office under the constitution are a matter of grave concern. This incident serves as an indicator of disrespect to the entire judicial fraternity. Lawers are also protesting against Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s comments on the judicial system of the country, and a public interest petition has been filed against him in the Rajasthan High Court.
The delegation included former Additional Advocate General Guru Charan Singh Gill, former state coordinator of BJP Legal Cell and Vice-President of the Bar Council Yogendra Singh Tanwar, State Coordinator of the Legal Cell Rakshapal Kuldeep, State Coordinator Saurabh Saraswat, State Coordinator Bhuvanesh Sharma, Bar Council of Rajasthan member Dr Mahesh Sharma, Coordinator of the High Court Unit Manu Bhargava, Deputy Coordinator of the High Court Unit Veerendra Godara, Deputy Coordinator of the High Court Unit Rajendra Singh Raghav, senior advocate Ram Singh Bhati, and former political advocate Sanjay Sharma.
