BJP accuses Rajasthan Congress of tarnishing law and order

CP Joshi, the state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, took a dig at the Congress government in Rajasthan, saying that the battle in the state’s elections is not between the BJP and Congress, instead, the real competition is within the Congress itself, and the Congress leaders are clashing with each other. He said that the Congress government in Rajasthan has tarnished the state’s glorious and prestigious history.
Joshi claimed, “Continuous atrocities against women are happening here, the law and order situation has deteriorated. This began after 2018 when a case of misconduct occurred in front of a husband involving his wife. When the video of that incident surfaced, it was suppressed due to the Lok Sabha elections. Instead of delivering justice to the oppressed woman of the Dalit community, she was being subjected to atrocities, when she should have received justice. But the Rajasthan government suppresses the cases by putting pressure on the victims.” He further said that in every corner of Rajasthan, whether it’s an ambulance, a school, or even someone demanding justice, the victim’s demands are met with repression. He said that if the BJP organization and the public do not protest and demonstrate in several cases, these cases remain suppressed. He made this statement during a press conference held at the state headquarters on Friday. During this, he said that after the historic meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Jaipur, two districts of Rajasthan, Chittorgarh and Jodhpur, will inaugurate various schemes and projects.
Incidents of rape are happening every day in Rajasthan: Rathore
Opposition leader Rajendra Rathore said, “It is unfortunate for Rajasthan that the burnt body of a woman is found in Jamwaramgarh near Jaipur. Meanwhile, in Chhabra, the dead body of a minor girl is found, a 13-year-old minor is abducted and a 4-year-old girl is raped in Pali.”
He also highlighted other rape cases saying, “At the same time, in Kethwada of Bharatpur, a rape case with a woman in the government quarter of the station in-charge came to light, and after raping a girl in Ramgarh, she is thrown into a well. Such incidents happen every day, and despite public protests, the victim does not get justice.”
Demand to withdraw the derogatory statement made by the CM on the Vice President
On this side, Rajendra Rathore also attacked the statement made by the Chief Minister about Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar.
He said that the Vice President came to honour that farmer family in Malpura, who gave their 11 hundred acres of land for agricultural research.
Rathore defended the VP and said, “He went to Kharanal, the construction site of Tejaji, and unveiled the statue of Nathuram Mirdha.
He came to Kota to meet students, and came to Dhanna Bhagat’s religious place, so why is Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot objecting to this?”
He added, “While they consider the Vice President as their friend. The Chief Minister also made an objectionable comment on the judiciary, and later he withdrew his statement. Withdrawing the statement is not a big deal for them.”
Rathore questioned why Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot took Congress in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa with him to the government program held in Kota. He said that inaugurating inflation relief camps and doing non-legislative work is the Chief Minister’s nature.
The press conference concluded with Rathore saying, “If Chief Minister Gehlot does not withdraw the statement he made on the Vice President, then we will take legal action.”
