On Tuesday, the inauguration of drinking water distribution under the Bisalpur Prithviraj Nagar drinking water project Phase I took place in the Rangoli Garden area. On this occasion, Jalday Minister Dr. Mahesh Joshi and Agriculture Minister Lalchand Kataria started the drinking water supply to 53 colonies in the region.
Addressing the inauguration program, Dr. Mahesh Joshi stated that with the completion of the first phase of the project by December, the 1100 colonies of Prithviraj Nagar will start receiving Bisalpur water. The Bisalpur Prithviraj Nagar drinking water project, with an estimated cost of approximately 747 crores, will also provide Bisalpur water to nearly 2200 colonies in and around Prithviraj Nagar under Phase II of the project. In the first phase of the project, there is a 44-kilometre transmission mainline, a 51-kilometre rising main line, approximately 970 kilometres of distribution main line, along with 9 clean water reservoirs and pump houses and 19 elevated reservoirs. In the program, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Minister Lalchand Kataria expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for fulfilling the promise of providing Bisalpur water to the people of Prithviraj Nagar. He stated that after years of delay, the Chief Minister approved the drinking water project, and with the full cooperation of the Water Resources Department, Bisalpur water has finally been delivered to the people of Prithviraj Nagar. The program was attended by MLA Gopal Meena of Jamwaramgarh, Panchayat Samiti President Ramnarayan of Jhotwara, and other public representatives and officials.
