Simariya Dham located in Begusarai will also be developed in Bihar on the lines of Harki Pauri Dham of Haridwar. For this, the Bihar government has laid the foundation stone for the beautification work of Simariya Ghat from today itself by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. This Dham will be developed at a cost of about 115 crores. The Water Resources Department will complete this work. This work has to be completed in 18 months. At the time of laying the foundation stone, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has instructed the officials to complete this work before the month of November next year and the government will help all possible to departments to complete this scheme.The CM said that under the Namami Gange scheme, the construction work of stairs, changing rooms, toilets, lights along with other construction work is going on near the crematorium by the NBCC company at a cost of Rs 11 crore.River front construction work will be done by Bihar government. Work is also being done ahead of the project. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that a large number of people come to this Dham, not only from Bihar but also from many states.
