Bihar: 12-year-old boy trapped in bridge pillar rescued, shifted to hospital

On Thursday, a National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team rescued a 12-year-old boy who was trapped between the pillar and the slab of a bridge on a river in Nasriganj.

Upendra Pal, Sub Divisional Magistrate of Bikramganj, stated that the boy, identified as Ranjan Kumar, has been taken to the hospital. “The child has been rescued and is being treated at a hospital in Sasaram.”

His condition is out of the ordinary. “The NDRF was also involved in the rescue efforts,” he explained. He went on to say that the rescue operation had been going on since the morning. More information is awaited.
