After the Congress party released its second list of candidates for the upcoming polls fielding its sitting MLA, Pramod Jain Bhaya, from the Anta constituency, he said that the party command has shown faith in him.
Bhaya is deemed to be a “close associate” of CM Gehlot. He is also the Cabinet Minister of Mines and Petroleum in the third Gehlot ministry. Pramod Jain Bhaya, Congress’s MLA from Anta, said, “The party high command has shown faith in me and has fielded me for the fourth time from the Anta constituency. Definitely, a public representative is accountable for the social work, and development of their constituencies. Whenever the public blessed me, I tried to strengthen my capabilities.”
The Anta seat is one of the 200 legislative assembly constituencies of the state. In the 2018 state assembly polls, Bhaya defeated BJP’s Prabhu Lal Saini. Similarly, on being shortlisted to contest from the Dausa constituency in the upcoming polls, Congress leader Murari Lal Meena said that it is a matter of joy for him that the party’s high command has trusted him. He said, “Our workers are enthusiastic. We have worked for five years by remaining in touch with the workers, and the government (Congress) has done great developmental work. We are sure that we will win the Dausa Vidhan Sabha seat by a huge margin.”
