Bharat Jodo Sammelan: revisiting Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra

Rajasthan Congress Committee will organize “Bharat Jodo Sammelan” (Connect India Conference) in every district from 5 pm to 6 pm on September 7th, marking the completion of one year of Rahul Gandhi’s “Bharat Jodo Yatra”.
In a circular issued by the Pradesh Congress Committee, it is mentioned that during the “Bharat Jodo Yatra,” Rahul Gandhi engaged with the people of the country through over 100 dialogue sessions, 1275 planned public meetings, 100 smaller gatherings, 13 major public meetings, 12 press conferences, and countless informal interactions with fellow citizens.
During this journey, he addressed pressing national issues, including skyrocketing inflation, unprecedented unemployment, communal harmony, divisive politics, and the threat to national security due to Chinese aggression. Rahul Gandhi’s perseverance and unwavering commitment to safeguarding Indian ideals are keeping the BJP restless, rekindling the spirit of democracy. The party believes that the impact of this historic “Bharat Jodo Yatra” will continue to resonate in the upcoming state and central elections and strengthen the legacy of our oldest party.
To commemorate the first anniversary of the “Bharat Jodo Yatra,” the Pradesh Congress Committee, as directed by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, has organized district-level “Bharat Jodo Padyatra” (Connect India March) in Jaipur. The program includes offerings at the statue of former Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru at Ram Niwas Bagh. Afterwards, the march will commence, and homage will be paid to the martyrs at Trimurti Circle. Subsequently, at 8:00 a.m., a tribute will be offered at the statue of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. At 8:30 a.m., homage will be paid at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi, followed by a tribute at the statue of the architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, at 9:05 a.m. Finally, at 9:30 a.m., the march will conclude with homage at the Amar Jawan Jyoti. Several prominent leaders from Rajasthan will participate in the “Padyatra,” including Seetaram Lamba, Vijendra Singh Mahalawat, Shatrughan Sharma, Sarvan Kumar Gurjar, Ruby Khan, Jagdish Vishnoi, Jhavarmal Sheravat, Yogesh Kumar Meena, Vivek Bhatnagar, Ramdayal Bhati, Radhakrishna Chetani, and Jitendra Nagda.
