Congress has started preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. Former minister Bhajan Lal Jatav reached the district Congress office on Friday as a Congress observer.
He communicated with Congress politicians and officials regarding candidate selection in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He said that BJP is just a party of slogans. At the same time, he talked about presenting the file of ERCP’s MoU in the Assembly.
Former minister Bhajanlal Jatav, while talking to ETV Bharat said, “The process of Lok Sabha elections has just started. Today we will discuss with workers and officials from the Bhilwara Lok Sabha constituency. When our government was in the state, we did very good work in the state. Whereas after the formation of the BJP government, work has been done to stop the scheme of our government. Due to this, there is huge anger among the public. BJP politicians are threatening our workers.”
Regarding the issue of Congress in the Lok Sabha elections, Jatav said, “The BJP has been ruling at the Center for 10 years. Till now no work has been done for the relief of the public. How long will the central government continue to discriminate between Hindus and Muslims? Whereas we are Ram devotees. We also worship Ram, but the BJP does appeasement politics in this matter also. Whereas we do politics of growth and development. When our government was at the Centre, a lot of good work was done in Bhilwara. BJP has nothing to do, it is just a Jumla party.”
On the question of the ERCP MoU, Jatav said, “The file of that agreement was not placed on the table. Due to this, it was not known at which points the agreement was reached, how much water would be received, whether the water increased or decreased, and how many dams would come into the area. All DPRs should be presented in the Assembly. Somewhere an attempt is being made to hide it. I think work and water have been cut as per the old DPR. Therefore, the DPR is not being presented.”
