Barmer police apprehends culprits in spa centre abduction case

In the case of the abduction of a woman after firing at a spa centre on Utralai Road, two criminals have been arrested, and the police have successfully thwarted their attempt to abduct the woman.
The vehicle used in the incident has also been seized by the police.
Police Superintendent Digant Anand stated that on the night of July 7, a woman was kidnapped from the spa centre. Immediately after the incident, an additional police team was formed under the leadership of the Additional Superintendent of Police Satyendra Pal Singh and Deputy Superintendent of Police Vritt Barmer Anand Singh Rajpurohit.
This team included Inspector Somkaran, Inspector Chunnilal, and Deputy Inspector Imran Khan. Due to the increasing pressure from the police, the youths got nervous, released the abducted woman on Utralai-Baytu highway, and fled. The police successfully apprehended the woman on the same night. The team conducted raids at several places in search of the criminals. Ultimately, the main accused Om Prakash and Ashok Kumar were arrested in the border village of Kuship.
According to the SP, both youths are high-profile criminals involved in drug trafficking.
They are wanted in various cases. Ashok Kumar is facing charges related to drug trafficking, Excise Act violations, theft, attempted murder, and assault. The police are interrogating both of them.
