Baramulla MP Er Rashid Holds Rally in Kupwara, Announces Legal Action Against Sajad Gani Lone

Engineer Rashid, the Chief of the Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) and Member of Parliament, announced on Tuesday that he will file a legal case against People’s Conference (PC) Chairman Sajad Lone. This decision comes after Lone’s recent statement suggesting that Er. Rashid was released from jail two months ago.

Er. Rashid made this announcement while speaking to the media following a large public gathering at the Government Boys Higher Secondary School in Kupwara. Addressing the crowd, he responded to accusations from his critics, who have labeled him as aligning with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

In his response, Rashid pointed out that parties like the National Conference (NC), People’s Conference (PC), and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) have previously shared power with the BJP. He suggested that these parties are now attempting to tarnish his reputation out of frustration. He further stated that the people of Kashmir are aware of who has betrayed them and who continues to stand as their protector.
